Description:

 1 Piece tube for use on 3 core XLPE Cables
This is an industry first, from REPL-JOINTMASTER allowing for the installation of only one heat shrink
tube over the connectors for MV cable joints up to 12kV.

The system has been independently type tested by KEMA, to CENELEC HD629.1 S2, certificate number TIC1596-13 (copy of test report available upon request)

The three layer heat shrink extrusion incorporates;

  • Stress control layer
  • Insulating layer
  • Semi conductive layer

This system allows for faster installation time and the simpler installation eliminates the possibility of partial discharge at the interface of multiple layers of heat shrink tubes as a result of incorrect
installation or heat application, ensuring a safe and completely secure joint.

Ideally suited for straight through joint kit applications on single core and three core XLPE cables up to 12kV
